OSHKOSH, WI, April 20, 2010 — Perfecseal, a Bemis Company operating in Carolina, Puerto Rico since 1988, announces a 30% increase in thermoformed tray manufacturing capacity and the creation of a new Distribution Center in their Carolina, Puerto Rico facility.

Paul Verbeten, President of Perfecseal, stated that the 30% expansion of the local tray thermoforming manufacturing capacity, including the installation of new state-of-the-art equipment, is a demonstration of Perfecseal's commitment to customers in the Caribbean region and their “growing demand for high-quality, cost-effective trays with increasing design complexity.” Luis Silva, Operations Manager, added that the Distribution Center is being developed to enhance just-in-time service to customers. “This investment will deliver unprecedented value to medical device manufacturers in the region by providing greater sourcing flexibility and shorter lead-times, thus reducing customers' inventories and total landed costs.”
