Paper Lock™ Hybrid™ System – A Paper Top Web and Bottom Forming Web System Incorporating Fiber-Free Peelable Seals
Ideal for medical packaging applications that require contoured tooling, such as syringe and pipette packaging, Paper Lock Hybrid forming film is the first advanced film that yields fiber-free seals to our direct seal paper, eliminating the need for costly heat-seal coating. It provides exceptional mechanical strength, incorporating a PerfecForm PA (nylon) based core layer for abrasion resistance and a PerfecForm ionomer-based layer that enhances formability and widens the processing window.
The forming film is engineered to seal to our 70 GSM uncoated paper, yielding fiber-free seals in the 300-450 gram force/inch range. It complies with ISO and EN porous microbial barrier guidance documents.
